Enquiry & booking

How early should we ask about our date?

As soon as the approximate date and venue are known. Popular Saturdays are often requested early, but a short-notice enquiry is always worthwhile because not every date is already taken.

Is our enquiry already a binding booking?

No. Every enquiry is free and non-binding. I check the date and we clarify the key details first. The booking becomes binding only when the services, total price and date have been confirmed in writing. I then keep the event day exclusively for you.

Where can we book you?

I am based in Oranienburg and regularly work across Berlin and Brandenburg. I can also be booked throughout Germany. Travel and possible accommodation costs are stated transparently in advance.

How is the price calculated?

Every event receives a complete quote. It combines preparation, agreed performance time, suitable sound and lighting, setup, dismantling, travel and any special arrangements. Wedding offers usually start at €1,000; club and festival fees are agreed for the individual production.

What total price should we allow for a wedding?

For a wedding with personal preparation, DJ performance, agreed sound and lighting, setup, dismantling and travel, you should generally allow for a complete offer usually from EUR 1,000. Performance time, distance, room, guest numbers and special requirements determine the binding quotation.

Music & schedule

Can we specify music wishes and do-not-play tracks?

Yes. Your favourite music, important songs for special moments and a manageable do-not-play list are part of the preparation. This keeps the event personal without losing its musical flow.

May our guests request songs during the event?

Absolutely. I consider whether each request suits you, the moment and the dance floor. The do-not-play tracks we agreed beforehand always take priority.

Do you play a fixed playlist?

No. I prepare your wishes and the musical framework carefully, but decide the actual order live. That lets me respond to your guests, their ages, the atmosphere and their reactions.

Do you help us develop the schedule and event plan?

Yes. Based on your ideas, I help create a clear and realistic framework for key moments, contacts and timings. We also consider likely variations in advance, such as a delayed dinner, longer speeches or spontaneous contributions. On the day I coordinate directly with the venue and relevant partners wherever that takes pressure off you.

How long do you play?

We agree the start and planned finish to suit your schedule. Whether an extension is possible on the night depends on the venue, agreed terms and the rest of the timetable.

Do you also host the event?

We can agree brief essential announcements in advance. Full show or event hosting is not automatically part of the DJ service. Please mention any wider hosting requirements in your enquiry.

Equipment & organisation

Are sound and lighting included in the price?

Not every event needs the same equipment package. I match the setup to the room, guest numbers, occasion and any in-house equipment. Your quotation states exactly what is included.

How much space and what power supply do you need?

That depends on the agreed setup. Once I know the main event details, you receive clear requirements for the DJ area, power, setup and dismantling to coordinate with the venue.

Do you coordinate with the venue and other suppliers?

Yes, where this helps with setup, timings or programme items. We collect the relevant contacts in good time so that everything does not have to run through you on the day.

What happens if there is a technical problem?

The agreed equipment is prepared and checked before use. Backup solutions are available for key components so that one technical fault does not automatically end the music. As a trained specialist, I check the equipment regularly; it is also covered by equipment insurance.

What happens if you become ill at short notice?

For an unforeseen personal absence, I can immediately seek a suitable replacement through a network of more than 20 DJs I know personally in Berlin and Brandenburg. Availability always depends on the date and requirements, so I do not make a guarantee that cannot honestly be kept.

Are you insured?

Yes. I hold liability insurance and equipment insurance. Insurance does not replace careful preparation, but it provides an additional layer of reassurance for professional work.

What happens if we postpone or cancel?

The specific terms are set out in your quotation or booking confirmation. Please tell me about changes as early as possible so that we can check which solution may be possible for your date.

Anything still unclear?

It is better to ask.

A personal answer is more useful than an assumption that does not fit your event later.
