Production summary

Own setup preferred. Club equipment by agreement.

For an initial check, please send the venue, stage, installed players, mixer, PA and monitoring. The final configuration is then confirmed in writing.

01

Preferred option

Own prepared setup

Where the schedule and space allow, I use my own tested controller and computer setup.

  • Stable DJ surface with at least 140 × 70 cm of usable space
  • Working height of approximately 90 to 110 cm
  • Two balanced audio paths to the installed PA
  • A dry, secure position protected from audience access and drinks
02

Installed club setup

Two matching players

A fully connected installed club or festival setup can be used as an alternative. Mixed player generations and unannounced substitutions must be agreed beforehand.

  • Pioneer DJ CDJ-2000NXS, CDJ-2000NXS2, CDJ-3000 or AlphaTheta CDJ-3000X
  • alternatively Denon DJ SC6000 or SC6000M in computer/controller mode
  • at least two identical and fully functional players
  • stable firmware with working USB, network and audio connections
03

Mixer

Familiar club standard

All required channels, cue functions, filters, faders, master and booth outputs must be checked before soundcheck.

  • Pioneer DJ DJM-900NXS or DJM-900NXS2
  • AlphaTheta DJM-A9
  • Pioneer DJ DJM-V10
  • other mixers only after prior technical approval
04

PA & monitoring

Controllable sound at the booth

The PA must suit the space and audience, be fully installed before doors and provide clean headroom. A clear booth monitor is essential for accurate mixing.

  • Professional stereo PA with adequate undistorted headroom
  • Separate booth monitor with independently adjustable level
  • Monitor positioned within direct listening distance
  • A responsible technical contact during setup and soundcheck
05

Power & safety

Clean power. Safe setup.

Power, cable routes and weather protection must be prepared so that guests and equipment remain safe.

  • Tested earthed 230 V supply at the booth
  • Audio and lighting power separated where possible
  • Covered or otherwise secured cable routes
  • For open air: solid protection from rain, wind, moisture and direct sunlight
06

Technical advance

Agree beforehand, not on site

The final rider is adapted to the venue, event and installed production. Please send the equipment list, routing, timings and technical contact in good time.

  • Full model and quantity list for installed DJ equipment
  • Setup, line-check and soundcheck time
  • Load-in route, parking and stage access
  • Changes or substitute equipment only after prior approval

Technical question?

Send the stage plan or equipment list.

I will check the installed equipment and interfaces beforehand and reply with a clear approval or alternative.
